These terms explain how estimates, scheduling, payment, and warranty work with NearMe Roofing Company. Your signed quote and contract are the controlling documents for your project. This page is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of nearmeroofingcompany.com and any estimate, inspection, or roofing service provided by NearMe Roofing Company ("NearMe," "we," "us"). By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.
If you are submitting a request on behalf of a property owner or a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so and to accept these Terms for that person or entity.
Free estimates and inspections are provided without obligation. A quote is an offer to perform the described scope of work at the stated price and is valid for 30 days from the date issued unless the quote states otherwise.
A quote is based on the roof as observed at the time of inspection. Hidden conditions — such as rotten decking, inadequate ventilation, structural deflection, ice and water damage beneath existing layers, or code upgrades required by a jurisdiction — may change the scope and price. We will document and price any such condition before performing the additional work, and will not proceed with it without your written approval.
Roof measurements, square counts, and material quantities are approximate. Final pricing is based on the approved scope and the actual materials used.
We schedule work based on weather, material availability, and crew capacity, and we will give you an expected start window. Dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Work may be delayed by rain, high winds, lightning, supply-chain delays, or other conditions outside our reasonable control.
You agree to provide safe access to the roof, attic, and work area, to clear vehicles and obstacles from the driveway and work zone, to secure pets inside or away from the property during work, and to notify us of any known hazards such as weak roof sections, skylights, or solar equipment.
Please move or cover fragile items in the attic and near the exterior walls. Roofing work generates noise, dust, and vibration, and can dislodge debris. We protect landscaping and use magnetic nail sweepers, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for items left unsecured in work areas.
Where a permit is required, we will obtain it and list the cost in the quote unless the quote states otherwise. You are responsible for HOA approvals, historic-district approvals, and any design or color restrictions that apply to your property. Please confirm your HOA requirements before work begins; changes made after materials are ordered may affect price and schedule.
If you are selling your home or refinancing, you may need a lender or buyer inspection. Let us know in advance so the installation can be documented appropriately.
Payment schedules are stated in your signed quote or contract, including any deposit and progress payments. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or produced for your project.
Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice. If payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current. Financing, where offered, is provided by a third-party lender under that lender's own terms; NearMe is not a lender and makes no representation about approval, rates, or eligibility.
If a payment method is declined or a finance agreement falls through after materials are delivered, you remain responsible for materials purchased and work completed.
Any change to the approved scope — materials, layout, add-ons such as gutters or skylights, or removal of an existing layer — must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before the additional work is performed.
NearMe provides a workmanship warranty covering our installation labor as described on our warranty page. Manufacturer material warranties are issued by the manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer's own registration requirements, transfer terms, and exclusions. Registration and eligibility are determined by the manufacturer, not by NearMe.
Warranties do not cover damage from foot traffic, unrelated trades, improper attic ventilation, acts of God, hail, falling limbs, impact, structural movement, or failure of components not installed by us. Filing a claim with a manufacturer may affect your property insurance record — please review your policy and speak with your insurer.
To keep coverage in good standing, keep your attic ventilation clear and dry, have the roof inspected and cleared of debris and overhanging branches, and report any suspected leak promptly.
NearMe carries general liability and workers' compensation coverage for its employees. We will provide a certificate of insurance on request.
To the maximum extent allowed by Washington law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the website or from our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work giving rise to the claim, except where Washington law prohibits that limitation.
You are responsible for maintaining your own property insurance. We do not act as your insurer and cannot be held responsible for damage that your own policy should cover.
Calls and texts with NearMe may be recorded for quality and training. If you opted in to text messages, you can reply STOP to (206) 487-4380 at any time to end them; message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
We may contact you by phone, email, or text about your request and your project. You may ask us to stop marketing communications at any time by emailing contact@nearmeroofingcompany.com.
Website content, including pricing examples, product descriptions, warranty summaries, and photographs, is provided for general information and may not reflect current manufacturer specifications or your specific situation. Your signed quote and contract control over anything on this website.
Before and after photographs and project details may be used in our marketing unless you tell us otherwise. Customer reviews published on the site or on third-party platforms reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of identical results.
Please do not submit confidential business ideas, designs, or proprietary information through our forms. Anything you send to us through the website that is not personal information may be used without restriction or compensation.
You may cancel a project before work begins. If materials have been ordered or produced for your project, or work has started, you are responsible for those costs as described in your contract.
We may decline or withdraw service where we cannot perform it safely, where payment is not current, or where access cannot be arranged.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute directly. Any claim arising from our services must be brought within one year of the date the claim could first be raised, except where a longer period is required by Washington law.
We may update these Terms; the version in effect is the one posted at the time you use the website or sign a contract. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Washington law.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@nearmeroofingcompany.com or by calling (206) 487-4380.
