This is our second time working with them over the past several years (two different houses) - once due to a leak from a downpour (single family house) and once to replace the whole roof (townhouse).In particular, I really appreciated Elijah’s communication and coordination. He was more than just professional - he seemed like he cared personally about the success of the project and our experience as customers. In terms of the estimate - other roofing companies tried to guess at the damage that may lurk under the shingles to produce the estimate with a caveat that the total cost would depend on the actual damage found during the project. NearMe gave us 2 separate costs - one for replacing the roof and one for replacing the wooden panels underneath if they appear damaged - with the latter being prorated based on the extent of the damage. They didn’t try to guess on what they "may" find, but rather gave us the most accurate estimate that they could. In the end, the total cost (including the roofing and panel replacement) ended up being less than other bids we got for the roof.Elijah explained the process, the timeline and what to expect in detail and kept in contact with messages and calls throughout the project.NearMe’s crew were punctual and they finished the project earlier than anticipated. They cleaned during and after each day of the project and were quite thorough. A part of our porch was knocked loose (likely by a ladder) and they sent their handyman within a day to restore it.Our townhouse roof is shared with our neighboring unit and we wanted to split the cost based on the square footage of each home (uneven) and they were able to accommodate this request and bill us separately; keeping track of the cost needed to repair either side of the roof so that there is no friction when splitting the cost.All in all, if I were ever to need another roofing project done, I would definitely call on NearMe!

We were so confused we finally hired an independent inspector to get his opinion on our roof and it matched exactly what Elijah had told us. The inspector also informed me that there are a lot of companies that will just show you pictures and try to scare you and tell you it's for peace of mind just to replace it. Turns out we need to replace approximately one bundle of shingles and some ridge caps. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate Elijah being so direct and honest with us and when it does come time to actually replace our roof or when my friends ask me who to call we know exactly where to go and where to send them.
